San Diego visit for Thanksgiving

Sorry for the lost time. We just returned from San Diego after spending Thanksgiving with family. It was so much fun. Let's see there was a lot of eating, some more eating, some football thrown in there and some really fun activities. Uncle Carl,Aunt Christie and cousins Charlie and Leila came down from Santa Barbara. We opened gifts for Christmas early, the gals and Jonah went to the Birch Aquarium. We had lunch with Aunt Joan. There was the prize fight between Linda and John on the Wii. Wow there was a lot going on. Here are a few pics to show the fun.

Brutus Buckeye and the Gribbens

The Ohio State University has set up these custom made Brutus Buckeys statues all over the place and we all went to see them. Jonah thinks Brutus (Bruti as he calls him) is so cool. Can you blame him? So here are a few pics.

Padres v. Reds

Katie and I went to see her beloved Padres last week. Of course the outcome was not what we would have liked. It was fun though to play hookie from work and spend some time together.

True Identity!

Katie and I had a date night with some friends and it was awesome. We went to dinner and then saw the new Batman movie. It was a good action-packed flick. However we kept wondering who the Real Batman was.....and then it clicked for us.

4th of July

This 4th we celebrated our Nations Birthday in Philadelphia with my best friend and his wife. We went swimming, BBQ'd, watched fireworks, visited the Please touch museum and slept. Ok we did not sleep a whole lot. But it was fun.

Summertime means Swim time

It has warmed up in Ohio and that means it is pool time. Jonah donned his shorts took off his shirt and is ready for the water. Wait a minute.. sounds like his Uncle Carl. Here are some recent pics.

Since it has warmed up, we have been outside playing and it is so much fun. We have played on the swing, slide and in the yard. We had a fun day at the zoo. It is has been an awesome blessing to enjoy everyday. Here are a few pics to update you all.

Winter is gone. Spring is here.

Ok, the snow is gone and the sun has made its way out. Spring is a fun time to watch things come alive. God is awesome to watch. Animals awaken from their slumber. Flowers bloom (April showers bring May flowers), trees bloom, grass grows, so many things come to life. One of these is Jonah. We have found out he absolutely loves to be outside. I mean REALLY loves it. We have gone to the park and had some fun on the swing. We played with Brutus and Gilbert, and Jonah has even worked in the yard.
